Perhaps taking a cue from director Madhumitha, who directed Chaya Singh for the film 'Vallamai Tharayo', the actress has now decided to wield the megaphone.

Says the actress, 'I will soon be directing a film with a friend Shreyas Sundhiera. The movie is tentatively titled 'Gandhi Bazaar'. It's about a youth of our country who don't recognize the value of our culture.'

When asked the reason behind not acting in Tamil films these days, she said, 'I was doing movies in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Bhojpuri. I didn't take the break intentionally.'

"If I come across a good story with a meaty role for me in Tamil, I would not hesitate to do it", she says.
