Director Saran is ready with his next film 'Modhi Vilayadu'. A protégé of director K. Balachander, Saran made a name for himself as a top director coming out with a number of hits like 'Amarkalam', 'Attagasam', 'Parthen Rasithen' and 'Vasool Raja'.
 
However, his last film 'Vattaram' managed to get only a lukewarm response at the box office. Keen to set the record straight, Saran has incorporated all commercial elements in the right mix with 'Modhi Vilayadu'.
 
Starring Vinay and Kajal Agarwal, the movie has musical score by the Colonial Cousins - Hariharan and Leslie.
