Goutham Menon can chase away the butterflies in his stomach and ask his heart to take it a bit easy as his latest film starring Suriya 'Varanam Aayiram' is witnessing tremendous bookings in advance.

The advance booking opened on the 12th of November and the two days before its release has been nothing short of dramatic. Be it Sathyam Cinemas, Abirami, Albert, Sangam, Inox or Mayajaal booking has been very good and the tickets have been almost sold out for about a week.

The proof of the pudding would be in the eating tomorrow when the movie releases. The USP of the film is Suriya appearing in many getups and of course Goutham Menon's direction.

Mayajaal will be screening the film as many as 38 times a day. Inox too is booked for the weekend and most booking has been through the internet.

Female crowds for the film are expected to be very high as is the case with most Suriya films. The actor plays characters that span many years, right from being a schoolboy to that of an old man. An exciting prospect for Suriya fans. The film also has Divya Spandana, Sameera Reddy and Simran as the leading ladies.

This sure is the season of 'Varanam Aayiram'.
