'Jagan Mohini' is slated to sizzle Tamil audiences once again. Jayamalini - The sex siren of yesteryear made a mark and created magic playing the title role in the flick.

Vitalacharya's 'Jagan Mohini' is being remade with Namitha and the title has been retained. The film is expected to grace theaters for Pongal. Namitha is all set to relive the magic in the modern Jaganmohini and reports indicate that it has come good so far.

Raja and Meera Chopra play prominent roles in the film and yesteryear heroine Yuvarani appears as Narasimha Raju's wife in the film. Kota Srinivasa Rao, Narasimha Raju, Brahmanandam, Riyaz Khan and Madan Bob also feature in the film. N K Viswanathan is directing the film in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.

'Vitalacharya's 'Jagan Mohini' is just an inspiration for the film. By incorporating several interesting sequences, including underwater sequences in Andamans, we are trying to make a wholesome entertainer,' said Viswanathan.

The film has music by Ilayaraja. H Murali is producing the film in both Telugu and Tamil.
