Come December, for Kollywood would throng the theatres with numerous releases. It would be a grand feast for film-buffs. Not one or two but nearly a dozen movies would be out this December.

Christmas coupled with winter holidays for children makes it a perfect occasion to release the movies, says a prominent film distributor in Chennai.

Some of the movies which are expected for a December release are Abhirami Ramanathan's production venture 'Panchamirtham' starring Jayaram, Nasser in lead roles, AVM Kumaran's 'A AA E EE', directed by Sabapathy, Kavithalaya's 'Thiruvannamalai', Murali – Vishwa starrer 'Kasu Irukanaum', Ravikrishna in 'Kadhal Na Summa Illai' and Srikanth's 'Poo' among others.

We hope people will come to theatres and watch all these movies. At a time when the global economic meltdown has played truant on the economy, we believe the entertainment industry in India will not be affected as people would continue to patronize us by thronging the cinema halls to watch movies regularly, said producer GR.
