Indiaglitz caught up with Shivamani, who opened his heart out on the latest music and his future aspirations.

Shivamani, who launched his own music label called KVKM, said, this label will provide new artistes a great opportunity to exhibit themselves. It is a venture to spot the right talent.

Speaking on the album, Shivamani said, "The album comprises of twelve tracks, each dedicated to poignant moments of my life and some that purged while working along with great Indian classical artists. Some of the veterans who helped me compiling the Mahaleela include Zakir Hussain, Vikku Vinayakaram, Louis Banks, Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan and Leeladri Kumar."

Music is my life and it's my passion. There are several offers coming my way to score music for films. I am not in hurry and looking forward for a good opportunity. I have been playing for several music directors in various languages across the world, he added.

Good music always attracts me, says the self-taught musician, who had started his life in a Basin Bridge only to go ahead and win international acclaim.

'I consider myself gifted. I have played for all big music composers in Tamil cinema like K V Mahadevan, M S Viswanathan, Ilayaraja, Rahman, R D Burman and Lamiukanth Pyarelal'.
