The leak of some introduction footages of Vijay starrer 'Villu', which is expected for a release on Pongal, in a website has sent shockwaves among the film fraternity.

The movie featuring Vijay and Nayanthara in the lead roles is directed by Prabhu Deva.

Ayngaran International is producing the movie.

Interestingly a couple of days ago, a website carried few portions of the introductory scenes of Vijay. The edited version with the background score was running 10 minutes.

It has created ripples in the industry. The cast and crew of the movie were reportedly jolted. They however claimed that the portions uploaded in the net were chopped off scenes from the movie.

The team said efforts are on to nab the culprits, who are behind this crude act.
