Rumors spread thick and fast that actor Karthi, who was shooting for 'Paiya' in Bangalore, was hurt during a stunt sequence.

A song featuring the lead pair Karthi and Tamanna were shot by director Lingusamy. A section of the media carried reports that Karthi was hurt while shooting for an action part in the movie.

Quick to react to the rumors, Karthi said, ' I just had a minor slip. Everything is fine and ok.'

Meanwhile speaking about the film, Lingusamy said, 'the shooting is on as per schedule. It is a breezy entertainer which is an action-oriented love story set against a city background'.
