Rohan Krishna, the director of 'Pattalam' won the National Award for a short film he had made. A student of the Film Institute, Rohan Krishna made a Short film titled 'Paramapatham' which won him the prestigious National Award….probably a factor that made producer Lingusamy associate himself with him.

The film that Rohan Krishna is currently making is 'Pattalam' which stars Nadhiya along with a bunch of school kids. Touted as a 'different' film with loads of counseling facts and the travails modern day children face, the movie is expected to be released soon.
