 Actor Krishna, brother of director Vishnuvardhan, who had an average outing with his maiden venture as hero in 'Alibaba', is acting in a movie directed by Five Star fame Krishna. Produced by G Sekar (Krishna's dad), 'Alibaba' was an action and suspense packed entertainer in which Prakashraj, Biju Menon among others played prominent roles.
The latest buzz doing rounds in Kollywood is that Krishna's next movie to be directed by debutant Krishna has been titled as 'Kitturaj'. Initially, they were planning to go for the title 'Madras'. However, this action packed story has now been titled 'Kitturaj'.
Krishna makes his debut as director. He has acted in films like 'Autograph', 'Thiruda Thiruda', 'Ayudha Ezhuthu', 'Thirumalai', 'Arindhum Ariyamalum' and the recent 'Jayamkondan'. A former assistant of cinematographer Rajeev Menon, Krishna is running an advertisement company.
'Chennai 600028' Vijayalakshmi plays the female lead in the movie, which would be shot entirely in Chennai. Plans are on to commence shooting from 19th February.
