Is it Meenakshi all the way in Rajadhi Raja?

IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, January 21, 2009]

Though five prominent heroines namely Kamna Jethmalani, Mumtaz, Meenakshi, Snightha and Kiran, form part of the cast in 'Rajadhi Raja', reports are floating that says Meenakshi hogs the maximum light in the movie. She appears for a couple of songs with Ragava Larencce including the remix of Elandha Pazham in the film.

When queried, director - producer Sakthi Chidambaram quickly dismissed the allegations. He said, 'everyone has a fair share in the movie. All the actresses share the frame equally as demanded by the script. I cast so many heroines not just for some glamour but also to justify the demands of the script'.

On his part Larencce said, "I have almost completed shooting for half the project. I never felt that one is given prominence over the other."

Mumtaz plays a negative role which would be the highlight of the movie, he added.

Meenakshi, who started her debut in 'Karuppasamy Kuthagaikarar', is awaiting the release of 'TN01 AL 4777' in which she has played opposite Ajmal while she appeared for an item number in Vishal starrer 'Thoranai'.
