Lakshmi Rai, who is slowly becoming a force to reckon with in Malluwood bagging plump offers, will be playing Jeevan's ladylove in director Selva's sequel to 'Naan Avan Illai'.
 
Sources say the sequel would be shot soon and that Jeevan would play the hero again. However there would be different female leads this time around. Sources say Lakshmi Rai, who recently completed shooting for 'Muthirai' and 'Vamanan', was approached to do the film. Sources also add that Lakshmi Rai is mighty keen to bag good offers in Kollywood and Bollywood.
 
Meanwhile, she is working on a couple of Hindi projects of which 'Hey Gujju' is one.
 
With the IPL matches scheduled to kick off this April, one can see this cricket-savvy actress at Chennai's Chepauk Stadium regularly.
