Sundar C starrer 'Perumal' was supposed to hit the screens last week. However, due to reasons unspecified, it backed out of the race.

But sources say the movie could not see the light of the day as there was some teething troubles. The whole unit is optimistic that the issues will be sorted out and the movie will hit the screens on Valentines Day in all probability.

Perumal, directed by Vincent Selvah, is a racy commercial entertainer. It is expected to appeal for every section of audiences, says the director.

Interestingly Sundar C's other two other ventures 'Thee' and 'Aindham Padai' has also been completed and is awaiting release.

The director-turned-actor is presently shooting for 'Murattu Kaalai', a remake of the yesteryear Rajnikanth hit.
