Kanika, the sleek actress who debuted to Tamil screens with Mani Ratnam’s production ‘Five Star’ is now a part of the historical magnum opus in Malayalam titled ‘Pazhassi Raja’.
She did a neat performance in Ajith’s ‘Varalaru’ yet didn’t get the right break in Kollywood so far. Later, she also dubbed for the female leads in ‘Anniyan’, ‘Sachin’ and ‘Shivaji’. But, the actress has bagged a meaty role in this most anticipated movie that is in production since two years now.
Without tasting success in her maiden venture ‘Ennittum’ in Malayalam before marriage, Kanika is starting her second innings with ‘Pazhassi Raja’ this time starring Mohanlal and Sarath Kumar in the cast.
Reportedly, she has also been roped in to play the lead lady in Cheran’s ‘Autograph -2’.
The budding heroine Divya Venkittasubrahmaniam alias Kanika is expecting to make it big around this time.
