Asin is making headlines again! The trendy actress bagged the Best Actress award from the prestigious Singapore-based International Tamil Film Awards (ITFA). She was recognized for her role as a traditional South Indian girl in Kamal Haasan's Tamil film ‘Dasavatharam’.

The ITFA is an organisation that recognizes the contribution of film personalities and actors towards Tamil cinema on an international scale. Asin will accept the award at a ceremony which will be held on May 16 in Singapore.

The starlet moved to Bollywood after finding great success in Kollywood. She established herself as a bankable actress after the resounding success of ‘Ghajini’, opposite Aamir Khan. Looks like Asin is well on her way to becoming the darling of the masses abroad too!
