Actress Mumtaj has made a lot of news these days. First, with her enviable figure, after losing oodles of weight. And second, with her return to screen with a new bold bad role, Saidai Shailaja in ‘Rajadhi Raja’.
 
The actress, who has not been seen on screen after ‘Veerasamy’, is said to be waiting to pick up her market. In an attempt to see how her performance has been received, Mumtaj tagged along with director Shakthi Chidambaram to watch the film in Udhayam Theatre.

On seeing her, the crowd went gaga and asked her to light up a cigarette in the way that she did in the film. Later, they also crowded around her, asking for autographs and photos to be taken with her. The actress was in for a surprise at the good reception she got, but when things moved out of control, she had to force her way out of the theatres.
 
All this fan adulation should have perked up the actress’s spirits, but she is still dejected at not having received any offers at all, despite her new sexy slim looks.
