Actress Poorna has a reason to be proud of herself. The ‘Muniyandi Vilangial Moondramandu’ heroine shares similar looks with actress Asin. Chinna Thalapathy Vijay had once said that Poorna reminds him of Asin and till now even the public feels the same. But the quiet actress is only too overwhelmed with the similarities. She was humble enough to comment that she will just concentrate on giving her best performance and stated that she won't imitate Asin’s acting skills.

Poorna, who is also from the God’s own country, made her first appearance in Mollywood later shifted to Kollywood. Her next forthcoming movies are ‘Dhrogi’ with Srikanth, ‘Arjunan Kadhali’ with Jai, ‘Kandhakottai’ with Nakul and ‘Vithagan’ with Parthiban. All these movies deal with different story lines.
