Parvathi-Srikanth movie ‘Poo’ was a major hit of 2008 and had won several awards from various sources. The movie since then made it to many popular Film Festivals that was held in several parts of the country and also abroad. Every place it was received with good response and was highly acclaimed.

This time, ‘Poo’ won the Best Film and Best Director of the Year at the Ahmedabad International Film Festival that was held recently. The event, which started on 26th June, opened with the screening of the movie and later, the awards were announced at the closing ceremony on 28th. The director, Sasi, had won a Trophy, a Certificate and a Cash Prize of 1250 dollars.

Looks like Poo’s luck blossoms each time it gets recognised with such worthy acknowledgements.
