Actor Rajan P Dev, who was reported to be in a serious condition following a lung failure, passed away succumbing to illnesses. The Malayalam actor's last release in Tamil was 'Malayan'.

Rajan P Dev is a known name in the theatre side, reputed for his emotion packed performances. In fact, it was the same intensity of emotion that won him his first Tamil movie, Pavithran's 'Suriyan'. Following that, the actor grew on to become a villain to reckon, and acted in over a 100 Tamil movies.

Rajan, who lived in Ernakulam, had retreated from an active acting career recently, owing to health problems. He was admitted four days ago, when he vomited blood. He was then moved to Kochi, where he was diagnosed with respiratory problems in the Lake Shore Hospital. He finally succumbed to his illness on Wednesday morning and is expected to be cremated tomorrow.

IndiaGlitz conveys its sincere condolences to his family and prays for his soul to rest in peace.
