He might be a successful actor. But Sundar C’s heart always beats for direction, a trade that initially took him to the masses.

“The filmmaker in me is always awake. But I am unable to direct a movie due to acting commitments. My wait is however all set to come to an end. After completing ‘Guru Sishyan’ and ‘Vaada’, I would start wielding the megaphone again,” he says.

Elaborating on his plans, the actor-filmmaker says, “The new film would be based on a knot that recently struck my mind. If things go as planned, the project would go on floors by January 2010.”

On his forthcoming film ‘Vaada’, he says, “it is a full length commercial entertainer by A Venkatesh, who is known for mass masala movies. Scenes involving me and Vivek have come out well.”
