Sunaina has been roped in by Perarasu for his next venture ‘Thiruthani’, starring Bharath in the lead role. Besides directing the movie, the filmmaker would also make his debut as a music composer, sources close to him said.

Quite like the earlier movies of Perarasu, ‘Thiruthani’ too would be a commercial entertainer, they said. “You can expect those quintessential masala elements of Perarasu in ‘Thiruthani’. Lyrics are also being penned by the director,” sources added.

Interestingly, Rajikiran would also do an important role in the film, which is set in the backdrop of a village and later shifts focus to the city. The film would go on floors soon.

Perarasu, who started his career with Vijay starrer ‘Thirupachi’, later made movies like ‘Sivakasi’, ‘Tirupathi’, ‘Dharmapuri’, ‘Palani’ and ‘Thiruvannamalai’
