One is renowned for his slapstick comedies while the other is more popular for stand-up comedies. Both of them rule the Tamil cine industry like big-wheels when it comes to comedy. Yeah, we are talking about our sweethearts Vadivelu and Vivek.

Wondered how will it be to see both together onscreen again? Vivek and Vadivelu had appeared together in quite a lot of movies before their superstardom. Later on they split out as main comedians with their own bunch of jokers. Just as we miss both the screen stealers together, a multifaceted personality too missed them and wanted to get them together.

This celebrity is none other than actor, comedian, producer and director TP Gajendran. His idea was not only to bring in Vadivelu and Vivek together, but also to bring in twelve leading comedians of Tamil cine Industry. The film was titled ‘Vidathey Pidi’ and produced under his home banner. The other comedians signed for the film are Charlie, Prabhu, Vaiyapuri, Thiyagu, Sathyan, Mayilsami, Muthukalai, Crazy Balaji, Aarthi and TP Gajendran.

The heartbreaking part of the news is this! When TP Gajendran approached Vadivelu and Vivek for the movie, both of them turned down the plan of acting together. When asked about this TP Gajendran came up with a rebuttal. “I know that both of they may deny this offer. So, I‘ve prepared myself to go on with the film without them both. That won’t create a big impact for the project,” said the Director.
