His first step in the industry proved to be lucky for him, so much that the success of his movie is still stuck to his name till date. ‘Jayam’ Ravi turns 29 today and one can see his career journey has been quite fruitful all the way. Even his second movie ‘M. Kumaran son of Mahalakshmi’ was received with much acclaims and still considered as the most preferred family movie.
If one goes by the portfolio of this charming actor, all his movies are targeted mainly at family junta. With the support of his dad- producer Mohan and brother-director M. Raja, Ravi gave fabulous entertainers. It can be noted that his remake movies have always been well-received – ‘M. Kumaran son of Mahalakshmi’, ‘Something Something Unakkum Enakkum’, ‘Santhosh Subramaniam’ – have proved this point. And, if goes by his heroines, they were all well-chosen besides being top beauties.
Now with ‘Peranmai’ Ravi would be featured in never-before-look, shedding his good-looking image for once. He is all rugged and tough, and would be supported by five fresh girls! As people are waiting to see him in this angry young man image, they were equally in for surprise to see his posters with Tamannah recently. Ravi and Tamannah are currently busy shooting with ‘Thillalangadi’, a Telugu remake (Kick) directed by his brother Raja. Next Ravi has a movie with director Ameer, titled ‘Kannabiran’.
