‘Pokkisham’ didn’t make much revenue as expected, so now Cheran seems to be in an unsteady mind. He is deciding as to whether he should take on acting or give a directorial venture next.

It seems Cheran has been approached by director Raja with a script. This director, a former assistant of Balu Mahendra, wanted Cheran to act in his movie. Impressed with the script, Cheran is said to have given his consent to do this one. The movie will be produced under Moser Baer, which had earlier done a Cheran’s movie, ‘Raman Thediya Seethai’.

Besides this, Cheran has another project on his mind. It is said that Cheran had narrated a script to the director-turned-actor Ameer. However, Ameer has plans to direct his next movie, ‘Kanabiran’, starring Jayam Ravi. On this, Cheran has requested Ameer to give him a 40-days call sheet before taking on ‘Kanabiran’. Ameer, who has debuted as an actor in ‘Yogi’, is waiting for the movie’s release and after which he said that he will consider on Cheran’s script. Now, it is believed that if Ameer says yes, then Cheran will not only direct the movie but also produce it.

Hmm, looks like it will take sometime for Cheran to settle down comfortably.
