The latest we hear about the ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam is that his desire to work with Ranbir Kapoor, a hot property in Bollywood.

Mani, who is currently busy with ‘Ravana’, is planning his next film in Hindi which is supposedly a pro-Muslim film. This one is tentatively titled as ‘Azan’.

Sources say that the director is in the process of penning the script. Once ‘Ravana’ hits the screens, he would commence rest of the work for his movie. ‘Azan’ could go on floors in March 2010, they say.

However nothing seems to be confirmed, let’s wait for the official announcement to be made.
