Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi Stalin has taken a novel way to signify the World Aids Day (December 1st).
Three short films titled as ‘Life’, ‘Love’, ‘Hope’ written by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. Beside Kiruthiga, the films are directed by Sasikumar and Mysskin with duration of 5 minutes each. These will be screened in Sathyam Cinemas tomorrow at 9.30 am.
Moreover the film’s DVD will be released by Padmashri Dr. Kamal Haasan.
People Aids Initiative in association with Alaihal Midea and Red Giant Movies is presenting this trilogy of films on stigma of HIV or AIDS victims.
The short films are to be screened in 6 cities - Chennai, Coimbatore, Selam, Madurai, Tiruchi and Thanjavur. The screenings will be presided with a chain of events, to mark World Aids Day, starting from Dec 1st to 8th. Prominent personalities and Government officials are invited to be present in all the places and encourage the initiative. Around 2000 people comprising of HIV/AIDS infected/affected people and children, NGOs, youth, college students and general public will be gathered for the screening event at each of the places.
For best use of the trilogy, a book on HIV/AIDS along with the screenplay, Stills, Interviews of the Directors and points for discussion will be published in Tamil soon.
