Another audio launch for 'VTV'

IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, December 23, 2009]

Any idea as to why Goutham Vasudev Menon zeroed in on London to launch the music of his forthcoming venture 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaya'? Well, the filmmaker, who is happy that the function became a 'grand success', speaks on it:

"Though we make our films on a par with international standards, we market them only within Tamil Nadu. Foreigners should know about our movies. So I selected London as the venue for VTV's audio launch," he says.

Goutham also has one more reason to hold the function in the United Kingdom. He says: "The whole world is celebrating A R Rahman. I wanted to remind the world with all proud that the music maestro is from our soil."

Claiming that ace musicians from London attended the event, Goutham says he is planning to hold one more audio launch for VTV. "Yes, this time, the function will be held in our own Chennai. This is purely for Tamil audience," he says.

A host of singers including Naresh Iyer, Benny Dayal, Karthik and Chinmayee attended the audio launch in London Saturday. They were accompanied by Goutham Menon and the lead pair of the movie, Silambarasan and Trisha.
