It was officially announced some time back that Vijaya Productions would bring together actor Dhanush and director Hari for the first time, close on the heels of the success of 'Padikadhavan' made under Vijaya banner with Dhanush in the lead.

And here we have some updates on the project. The film has been titled 'Aruva', meaning cleaver, which is a standard prop in almost all Hari movies.

'Aruva' will get a kick started once Hari completes Suriya film 'Singam' and Dhanush completes his 'Aadukalam' and 'Mappillai'. "You can expect the film to go on floors by April or May," say sources.

They claim that the movie would be a typical Hari kind of mass entertainer. A leading actress would be roped in as the heroine while Vadivelu taking care of the comedy portions, sources maintain.
