Shakthi is playing 'Lingam', a graduate who wants to settle in the United States, in his forthcoming movie 'Aattanayagan'. Is he able to achieve his dream is the crux of the film produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers.

Says the film's director Krishnaram, "veteran filmmaker R Sundararajan is playing Shakthi's grandfather and both share the common name- Lingam. How this name makes Shakthi land in trouble is a different story."

Elaborating more, he says, "the entire film is an emotional war between Shakthi and Nasser, who plays his father. Remya Nambeesan is the heroine while Meera Vasudevan is making a comeback by doing the role of Ramya's sister."

Expressing gratitude to the producers, he says, "Lakshmi Movie Makers are known for making films with top heroes and directors. But they have come forward to produce a film by joining hands with a fresher like me. I will certainly live up to their expectations."
