Gurlin goes the popular route

It's nothing new for our actresses to shake legs for item numbers (or special songs, these days). Joining the list is Gurlin Chopra, who has acted in a handful of films including the Praveen Kanth starrer 'Thullal'.

The actress has been roped in for a special number in 'Naane Ennul Illai', an upcoming movie which would mark the arrival of yesteryear actress Jayachitra's son Amresh Ganesh as an actor.

Besides playing the protagonist, Amresh Ganesh has also composed the music for the movie. A romantic story, 'Naane Ennul Illai' has 'Chak De India' actress Arya Menon paired opposite Amresh.

Recently, the special number which would be the title song of the film was shot on Amresh and Gurlin Chopra at a grand set erected in AVM Studios. "I have put in extra effort to ensure that the song comes out well," says Amresh.
