Meera Jasmine was introduced to us through Linguswamy's 'Run' where she acted opposite Madhavan. The movie was a blockbuster hit and the actress too became an instant hit among all the South Indian film industries. However, she has recently commented that she is quitting her career as an actress to a leading Malayalam media house!

It must be remembered that although initially her movies were received well, the journey was not all that fruitful later on in any language, despite her consistent performance. She had acted with several leading heroes including with Ajith, Vijay, Madhavan and Vishal. But 'Sandakozhi' with Vishal was her last hit in the box-office, after which all the movies failed quite miserably. It is said that due to the continuous flops and her star tantrums, no banner is willing to sign her and that maybe the reason for this statement by the actress.

While all these talks are doing the rounds, sources close to the star reveal that she is planning to the knot with her longtime boyfriend Mandolin Rajesh.

We'll get back to you with latest tidbits @ IndiaGlitz.com...
