Anushka is great: Kajal

Kajal is all praise for Anushka Shetty, for the latter's performance in 'Singam'. The actress, who is currently busy on the sets of the Hindi remake of the film, says Anushka delivered an excellent performance in this Suriya - starrer.

"I watched Singam and I must say that Anushka has done a wonderful job. But my role in the film's Bollywood version is totally different from the original as it had undergone a lot of changes", she says.

The Hindi version, titled 'Singham', has Ajay Devghn in the lead role. Directing the film is Rohit Shetty and buzz was that Anushka was initially approached for the role and she was later replaced by Kajal.

When asked about this, Kajal said she had no idea about whether Anushka was approached for the project or not. "I am happy to be part of Singham. It's a great role and I am working hard to make a difference".
