Mamta's engagement ceremony today

Mamta Mohandas, the Mollywood girl who is popular in Kollywood and Tollywood, is set to be engaged with her childhood sweetheart today. Remember today is a special day (11-11-11) and hence the actress picked this day for her special occasion.

"Their marriage will take place sometime next year, as Mamta is currently busy with at least four projects in Malayalam. She is so happy about the fact that she would enter wedlock with the person who is very close to her heart for years together," circles close to her say.

Mamta, who was part of Tamil movies like 'Guru En Aalu' and 'Sivapathikaram', was recently honoured with the vocational excellence award by the Rotary Club of Cochin Knights (District 3201). She received this award "by virtue of being a young achiever in the competitive film industry through her sheer determination, will power and new generation skills".

On receiving the award, Mamta, who is also a popular playback singer, said, "With great power comes great responsibility and I find that a lot of youth today lack the desire, hunger and passion for achieving that power. I urge parents to instill responsibility in the hearts and minds of their kids right from childhood."
