It's Karunas who is always one step ahead among his colleagues in the comedy business, when it comes to playing the lead roles in films. He is proving this once again, by signing three projects at a stretch.
He will play the protagonist in 'Ragalaipuram', 'Chandamama' and a yet-to-be-titled movie. All the three will be comedy capers, quite like his earlier ventures 'Dindigul Sarathy' and 'Ambasamudram Ambani'.
Confirming this, Karunas says, "All these three films have tailor made roles for me. Ragalaipuram will be directed by Manohar and Kovai Sarala is playing an important part. The year 2012 will be so important in my career."
He adds: "Acting in the lead role in three films doesn't mean I would not continue my career as a comedian. As always, I will give importance to comedy roles. At the same time, I am ready to play the protagonist if the script and the role suit me."
