One of the much celebrated director-music composer combos of Tamil cinema, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Harris Jayaraj parted ways post 'Vaaranam Aayiram', after delivering hits for a decade.
Now the duo may come together once again, for 'Neethane En Ponvasantham'. Yes, you read it right. It is said that AR Rahman, who was supposed to score music for the movie, is unable to do so thanks to his global commitments.
"With Rahman expressing his inability to compose songs for Neethane En Ponvasantham, Gautham is planning to work with Harris again. An official announcement will be made soon," say circles close to the development.
However, it is said that Rahman would sure work with Gautham for 'Yohan Adhyayam Ondru', a film starring Vijay in the lead role. 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' is a trilingual with Jiiva, Nani and Aditya Rai Kapoor playing the protagonists in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions respectively. Samantha is the heroine in all the three languages.
