Sneha's director is a singer too

From Saturday last, the shooting of 'Haridas', a film directed by G N R Kumaravelan with Kishore and Sneha playing the lead roles, is going on in a fast track. "This is my first story. But circumstances made me to direct Ninaithaley Inikkum and Yuvan Yuvathi," the director says.

Besides wielding the megaphone, Kumaravelan has also turned a singer with 'Haridas'. "Usually my movies have many songs. But Haridas has only three numbers and I have crooned for one of them. It was an interesting experience," he says.

Quite like 'Ninaithaley Inikkum' and 'Yuvan Yuvathi', Kumaravelan's good friend Vijay Antony is the music composer of 'Haridas'. "It was thanks to his encouragement I became a singer in this movie," the filmmaker says.

Rathnavelu is the cinematographer of 'Haridas'. Throwing light on the film's story, Kumaravelan says, "For each and every child, his/her father is the first hero. This is the basic knot of the script. A different treatment has been given to the screenplay."
