There are no shootings today, as the Tamil Film Producers Council is holding a one-day strike to express its anguish over workers. Meanwhile, the Film Employees Federation of South India has announced that it would be forced to launch a protest if the producers continue to 'insult' them.
It all started last week, when the shooting of Karthi Sivakumar's upcoming film 'Alex Pandian' came to a halt. Since then, producers and workers have been making charges against each other, holding the opposite side responsible for the incident.
In fact TFPC has reportedly announced a day long strike today against steps taken by Ameer and all shootings will be cancelled today. They are planning to issue a Red Card against him!
The producers have decided to suspend all discussions between the Tamil Film Producers Council and the Film Employees Federation of South India over the wage revision until the federation tenders an apology to the council.
On its part, the FEFSI has alleged that producers were insulting them. Stating that a section of the producers were not willing to give fare wages, office-bearers of the federation alleged that its members were being ill-treated by producers.
