Tamil Film Producers Council president SA Chandrasekhar on Thursday called on Greater Chennai Police Commissioner J K Tripathy and denied allegations made against him by stunt choreographer Jaguar Thangam.
Accompanied by Kalaipuli S Thanu and other office-bearers of the TFPC, Chandrasekhar arrived at the Commissionerate and met Tripathy. Emerging out of the meeting, he told reporters: "Only I was threatened at the Council meeting by a man called Vadivelu."
"He pulled my shirt and behaved with me in an unlawful way. A complaint has been filed with the Teynampet Police already. At this juncture, Jaguar Thangam has leveled a false allegation against me," he said.
Thangam on Wednesday has filed a complaint with the Commissioner, alleging that he was abused by Chandrasekhar and others at a recent meeting of the TFPC.
In his complaint, Thangam, who is also a member of the Council, said SAC and his supporters tried to assault him, besides threatening with dire consequences. Also Read:'Thupaki' threat from SAC?
