Rumours were doing rounds in K-Town for the past few days that Sneha would play the lead role in the Tamil remake of 'Kahaani', a recent Hindi movie which had Vidya Balan playing a pregnant woman.

But the 'Smiling Sensation' has denied it. "I watched Kahaani recently and was telling Prasanna and my friends that I would like to do such a challenging role. This has been misunderstood and no producer has approached me with such an offer."

Sneha, who will marry her beau Prasanna in Chennai on May 11, is currently doing a crucial role in 'Haridas', a film directed by GNR Kumaravelan of 'Ninaithaley Inikkum' and 'Yuvan Yuvathi' fame.

The actress is said to be playing the mother of an eight-year-old boy in this film. Kishore of 'Aadukalam' is the protagonist of this emotional thriller, whose shooting is going on in a fast track.
