Some scenes on Nakul were recently shot by director Vetrimaaran at a popular beach in Chennai. This has led to a speculation that the 'Kadhalil Vizhundhen' actor has been roped in for the National Award winning director's forthcoming film 'Vada Chennai'.
But the truth is that Vetrimaaran directed a scene for 'Naan Rajavaga Pogiren', a film which is being directed by his former associate Prithvi Rajkumar. Interestingly, script for the movie is by Vetrimaaran himself.
"Based on a request from Prithvi Rajkumar, Vetrimaaran directed the particular scene featuring Nakul. There is no truth in reports that the actor is doing a role in Vada Chennai," say sources close to the unit.
Meanwhile, the shooting for 'Vada Chennai' is expected to start in a couple of months. Vetrimaaran will soon shoot scenes featuring Simbu aka STR. The film has three heroines including Deekha Seth and Hansika Motwani. VTV Ganesh will be seen in a pivotal role.
