Vimala Raman was a shining star in Mollywood four years back. But her stint with the mainstream industry didn't last long as all of her big films didn't even give her a single  appreciable hit. The actress who within a short time has managed to play the heroines to all the important stars of Mollywood was thus considered as one to be very unlucky. Her attempts in other languages also failed to create any big impact.

Anyhow, the actress is now trying for a comeback in Mollywood with the new movie 'Turning Point'. Directed by Martin C Joseph, ''Turning Point'' is a revenge story with Gowtham, Rahul Pillai and Kalabhavan Mani taking the male lead roles. Vimala appear as a Sanskrit lecturer in this movie which will be produced by Sai Subhiksha movies. Just wait and watch whether this new movie will really provide a turning point to Vimala's career.
