Mahesh's stardom: SVSC shifts location

IndiaGlitz [Monday, April 02, 2012]

Thanks to Mahesh Babu, Dil Raju is having to shell out more money.  We are not talking about Prince's astronomical remuneration, which every producer in the industry would be more than willing to pay him.  Having got two superstars on the roll call, Raju must have been expecting to control costs as much as he could.  That was not to be.

Srikanth Addala may have managed to create history by reviving the multi-starrer trend in Tollywood, but even this creative mind could not foresee that the shooting would face with an unavoidable problem, owing to Mahesh's superstardom.  SVSC shoots had to be cancelled at least three times in Hyderabad because of the vast numbers turning up at the location to catch a glimpse of Mahesh.

Following this, Mahesh has apparently asked the producer that the film be shot in Chennai.  Though this would translate to more costs for Raju, he has accepted Mahesh's suggestion because the unit can at least shoot in peace!

Star directors of the future? Wait and watch!
