Vikranth earned more fans from cricket than from cinema, as the actor hogged all attention as a complete all-rounder, during the Celebrity Cricket League matches recently. And now, he is eyeing to make it big in films too.
The cousin of Vijay will soon start his second innings in Kollywood with a film to be directed by his elder brother Sanjeev, who had earlier worked as an assistant to directors Sami and SS Rajamouli.
"It will be a complete action film. The shooting will start soon," says Vikranth, adding: "Apart from this project, I have also signed a movie in Malayalam. It will be helmed by Kannan."
Vikranth made his acting debut in 2005 with 'Karka Kasadara', directed by RV Udhayakumar. He later played lead roles in 'Ninaithu Ninaithu Paarthen' and 'Nenjathai Killathey', among other films. The actor is married to Manasa, who is a popular television artist.
