Who heads Producers' Council?

Monday was yet another day of confusion and chaos as far as Tamil Film Producers Council is concerned, as the two factions which claim the leadership of the organisation continued their war of words.

Supporters of SA Chandrasekhar, who was 'suspended' from the post of president by an ad hoc committee for six months, said that the ad hoc committee's decision was invalid.

However, office-bearers of the ad hoc committee, who met the media, said that they had the support of majority of the members of Producers Council and hence their decision was very much valid and came into immediate effect.

"We will soon conduct fresh elections to the Council to elect the new set of office-bearers. Till then, the committee headed by Ibrahim Rowther will take care of the welfare of producers," they said.
