As a mark of tribute to the centenary of Indian cinema well known film maker MS Sathyu arranged for the premiere of 'Parie' in Mumbai on last Sunday at Cine Max at Andheri West. MS Sathyu is the art director of this novel based Kannada cinema and Nimai Ghosh still photographer of legend Sathyajith Ray films has worked for a Kannada cinema for the first time.
'Parie' Kannada cinema by Sudhir Atthavar lyricist turned director produced by PDT Abhiyanthara Chitra produced by Shandru Sindhogi, Arun Thumati and friends received wonderful response from the artists and technicians who have come to watch the Kannada cinema premiered for the first time in Mumbai.
Prominent personalities such as Rajeshwari Sachidev, Varun Vadola, Anuradha Patel, Udit Narayan, Sadhana Sargam, Javed Jaffrie, Anjan Srivatsav, Akilendra Mishra, Sulab Arya, Ramesh Talwar, Bob Brahma Bhat, Sudhanshu Chakravarthi, Chandan Roy, Bijon Das Gupta, Shama JB, Renuka Sahane and 300 others attended the premiere of 'Parie' says director Sudhir Atthavar.
The artists and technicians team of 'Parie' was present to receive the guests at the premiere. The film is based on the novel 'Bharadwaja' penned by Sampanna Muthalik. Veera Samarth is the music composer. Ananth Urs is cameraman. Rakesh, Nagakiran, Harshika Poonacha, Nivedhitha, Masood Akthar, Sathya, Usha Uthup, Sharat Lohitashva, Vikram Udayakumar, Srinivasa Prabhu, Sudarchano Chatterjee, Mandya Ramesh, Bank Janardhan, Veena Nayar, Vinayaprakash and others are in the cast.
