The controversial actress from Pakistan Veena Mallik has signed the contract to act in Kannada film 'Dirty Pictures'...Silk Sakkath Maga. The portions of this film are not related to Ektha Kapoor film 'Dirty Pictures' that starred Vidya Balan.

Veena Mallik it is told collected tears after hearing the script based on the life of South Indian actress and popular dancer Silk Smitha. Trishul is first educating Veena Mallik on the culture and tradition plus the life sketch of Silk Smitha. He has obtained 30 days of permission to shoot from Veena Mallik. In this time he is completing the talkie portions. For the song portions he is going to Sri Lanka.

This is a heroine oriented subject and Trishul has collected some of the real life touching episodes in the life of Silk Smitha that are not shown in Hindi cinema. On May 17th Veena Mallik is taking part in the photo shoot.

Trishul thought of Naseeruddin Shah, Mithun Chakravarthy and a few others. He might contact versatile actor Ananthnag for a prominent role.

Producer Venkatappa who made 'Ganga Cauvery' is producing this multi crores project and his son Akshay is the young hero of the film.

Trishul directed 'Baaba' Kannada cinema in 2007 and after five years he is back to direction.
