That Suresh Krishna directed three biggest hits of Superstar Rajinikanth- 'Baashha', 'Annamalai' and 'Veera'- is known to everyone. The acclaimed filmmaker is now stepping into small screen.

He is wielding the megaphone for a mega serial titled 'Aaha', which will be aired from Monday to Friday on Vijay TV, from May 7. "It will be a romantic story which will strike a chord among today's audience," sources say.

Remember 'Aaha' is a film directed in the late 1990s by Suresh Krishna. "But the title has only been inspired. The story is a fresh new one," sources say, adding: "Fresh faces have been roped in to play lead roles."

Karthik Raja is composing music for 'Aaha', while lyrics are by Pa Vijay. "Though it is a serial, it is being made like a film by Suresh Krishna. Some important scenes were shot on a heavy budget in distant locales," sources conclude.
