Vetrimaaran ties up with Dhayanidhi Alagiri

Vetrimaaran, who recently floated a production firm called Grass Root Film Company, will partner with Dhayanidhi Alagiri for a new movie to be directed by Manikandan, who is none other than his former associate.

The film will have Siddharth playing the lead role. In an interesting development, Dhayanidhi Alagiri, instead of going ahead with his Cloud Nine Movies, has started a new company, named Meeka Entertainment.

"Very excited about this new venture of mine Meeka Entertainment. Its perspective is going to be much broader in terms of entertainment, media and communications," the high profile producer wrote on his microblogging page.

Story and screenplay for this yet-to-be-titled movie is by Vetrimaaran himself, while cinematography is by Velraj. Music is expected to be composed by G V Prakash Kumar. Vetrimaaran is at present gearing up to direct a movie with Dhanush.
