Vimal's makeover film 'Ishtam', directed by Prem Nizaar, will hit the screens on May 25. A remake of Telugu hit 'Yemaindi Ee Vela', the movie marks the Kollywood debut of Kajal Aggarwal's younger sister Nisha Aggarwal.

The movie produced by Ramesh Thandra of Balaji Real Media Pvt Ltd is a love story, which tracks the lifestyle of today's youngsters. After playing a rural youth in a host of films, Vimal gets to do a city-based young man in this movie.

He says, "When Prem Nizar came to me with the idea of remaking Yemaindi Ee Vela, I was thrilled. It is an interesting story and I am eager to know the response from the audience for my image makeover."

Says Nisha, "I improved myself in Ishtam when compared to Yemaindi Ee Vela. I am happy to make my foray into Kollywood, where my sister is a popular actor." Music for 'Ishtam' is by Thaman S.
