It would not be an exaggeration to say that Trisha Krishnan is one of the best actresses of South film industry.  From the time she was introduced as Sailaja in Varsham, she has soothed the audience with her sensible method of acting, enticed us with her cackling smile and awed us with her timing.

As she turns 29 today, she still rules the roost, commanding respect in Tollywood as well as Kollywood.  Her ability to pull off difficult sobbing scenes naturally is a rarity in the current crop of actresses.  When some of them started to write her off, she bounced back with a brilliant performance in Bodyguard.  Though the performance was almost under-rated, one hopes that the juries of awards panels will give her due.

It may be said that Trisha's style and oomph apart, she can do brilliant comedy.  When she lights up the screen with her broad smile, she peps up the proceedings.

Busy juggling two industries, Trisha is currently busy doing  'Samar' with Vishal & Sunaina, a romantic entertainer with Jiiva to be helmed by Ahmed, 'Boologam' with Jayam Ravi and another film with Ravi Teja.

Here's wishing the gorgeous lady a very happy birthday and success in her future ventures!
